Attention:BeforeyoustartinstallinganM.2wirelessLANcard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetal
object.Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
ToreplacetheM.2wirelessLANcard,dothefollowing:
1.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage67.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
3.Removetheexternalbatterypack.See“Replacingtheexternalbatterypack”onpage68.
4.Removethebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage71.
5.Ifatoolisprovidedwiththenewcardtohelpyoudisconnectcables,usethetooltodisconnectthe
cablesfromtheoldcard.Ifnosuchatoolisprovided,holdthecableconnectorwithyourngersand
gentlydisconnecteachcablefromtheoldcard.
6.Removethescrew.Thecardisreleasedfromthesecuredpositionandpivotsupward.
