•ForWindows8:ClickCamerafromtheStartscreen.
Whenthecameraisstarted,thegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe
programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera
willstartautomaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorwillturnon.Formoreinformationaboutusing
thecamerawithaprogram,refertothehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
Conguringcamerasettings
Youcancongurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Tocongurethecamerasettings,dothefollowing:
•ForWindows7:StarttheCommunicationsUtilityprogramandcongurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
•ForWindows8,dooneofthefollowing:
–Congurethecamerasettingsdirectlyfromtheprogramthatisusingthecamera.Formoreinformation,
seethehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
–ClickLenovoSettingsfromtheStartscreen.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentocongurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingaashmediacardorasmartcard
Yourcomputermighthaveamediacardreaderslotorasmartcardreaderslot.
Ifyourcomputerhasamediacardreaderslot,itsupportsthefollowingcards:
•MultiMediaCard(MMC)
•SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)card
•SecureDigital(SD)card
•SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)card
Note:YourcomputerdoesnotsupporttheCPRMfeaturefortheSDcard.
Attention:Whiletransferringdatatoorfromaashmediacard,suchasanSDcard,donotputyour
computerintosleeporhibernationmodebeforethedatatransfercompletes;otherwise,yourdatacouldbe
corrupted.
Installingaashmediacardorasmartcard
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingacard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisaction
reducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
