Section Two

Windows 2000 VPN PPTP Client Configuration at Remote Site

Note: This procedure is very similar and can apply to configuring a Windows XP client.

1. Double click on My Computer.

2. Double click on Control Panel. When the Control Panel window opens, double click on the Network and Dial-

Up Connections icon.

3. When the Dial-Up Connections window opens, double click Make New Connection. The Connection Wizard

is launched.

4. Advance to the next window of options by clicking Next.

5. Select the third option, Connect to a private network through the Internet, and click on Next>.
