9. Click Finish after the message that the configuration was successful.

10. Right click on the new icon for the VPN server in the Dial-Up Networking window, and select "properties".

11. Click on the Server Types tab.

Under Advanced options check:

- Log on to network

- Enable software compression

- Require encrypted password

- Require data encryption

Under Allowed network protocols check:

- TCP/IP
