Pass-through and callback users—one host type.

Modems Security Type Connected to Modem Group

1A–2F Both security The host computer Unassigned

This site has a mix of callback and pass-through users, so the system has to have both dial-in and

dial-out security modems. However, separate modems for the pass-through users and the callback

users are not desired. By setting all the modems to be “both” security modems, the modems can be

shared for both purposes.
