Status information from the SIM about the execution of the actual command. It is returned in both

cases, on successful or failed execution of the command.

Response data in case of a successful completion of the previously issued command.

“STATUS” and “GET RESPONSE” commands return data, which gives information about the

currently selected elementary data field. This information includes the type of file and its size.

After “READ BINARY” or “READ RECORD” commands the requested data will be returned.

<response> is empty after “UPDATE BINARY” or “UPDATE RECORD” commands.

+CSCS Select TE Character Set

Description: Informs the modem which character set is used by the DTE. The modem can convert each

character of entered or displayed strings. This is used to send, read or write short messages.

Values: <Character Set> Character Table Set (ASCII String)

GSM GSM default alphabet

PCCP437 PC character set code page 437. Default

CUSTOM User defined character set

HEX Hexadecimal mode. No character set used; the user can read

or write hexadecimal values.

Parameter Storage: The <character set> parameter is stored in EEPROM using

AT&W. The default value can be restored using AT&F.
