+CREG Network Registration
Description: This command is used by the application to ascertain the registration status of the product.
Syntax:

For <stat3>: Nominal Case
Read Command:

+CREG: <mode>, <stat> [ ,<lac>,<ci>]

For <stat=3>: Specific Case
Read Command:
AT+CREG?
+CREG: <mode>, <stat> [ ,<rejectCause>]

Test Command:
AT+CREG=?
+CREG: (list of supported <mode>s)
OK
Unsolicited Response for <stat3> Nominal Case: +CREG: <stat> [ ,<lac>,<ci>]
Unsolicited Response for <stat=3> Specific Case: +CREG: <stat> [ ,<rejectCause>]
Values: <mode> Request Operation
0 Disable network registration unsolicited result code (default)
1 Enable network registration code result code +CREG: <stat>
2 Enable network registration and location information unsolicited result code
+CREG: <stat>,<lac>,<ci> if there is a change of network cell.
<stat> Network Registration State
0 Not registered, Mobile Equipment is not currently searching for a new operator.
1 Registered, home network.
2 Not registered, Mobile Equipment currently searching for a new operator to
register to.
3 Registration denied.
4 Unknown.
5 Registered, roaming.
<lac> Location Area Code
String type; two byte location area code in hexadecimal format (e.g., “00C3”
equals 195 in decimal).
<ci> Cell ID
String type; two byte cell ID in hexadecimal format.
<rejectCause> Network Registration Denied Cause
0 Illegal Mobile Station
1 Illegal Mobile Equipment
2 IMSI unknown
3 Bad network authentication
Parameter Storage: The <mode> parameter is stored in EEPROM using the AT&W command. The
default value can be restored using AT&F.
