Format a Compact-

Flash card step-by-

step

Formatting the CompactFlash card before logging data is started is required if a

completely new CompactFlash card is used or if all existing data needs to be

deleted.

4. Pull the battery from the battery compartment.

upwards and the contacts facing the slot.

Slide the card firmly into the slot until it clicks into position.

6. Place the battery into the battery compartment.

7. Close the compartment cover.

8. To remove the card, open the cover of the battery compartment.

9. Pull the battery from the battery compartment.

10. Press the eject button on the right side of the card slot twice.

11. Pull out the CompactFlash card.

12. Close the compartment cover.
